America's Finest City Real Estate San Diego

San Diego is referred to as “America’s Finest City,” and there are countless characteristics that help to strongly back this title up. Truthfully, it’s not that difficult to make a solid case for our great city to have such a prestigious moniker. Here are just some of the many great reasons for San Diegans to have pride in their city while other naysayers around the U.S. try to hide their envy: Outstanding Weather - When people talk about the cities with the best weather, San Diego is typically the first place mentioned. In fact, The U.S. Weather Bureau has even said that the weather in San Diego is the closest to perfection out of any place in America. Many magazines and polls have have very much so agreed. Some even rank the weather in San Diego in the top 3 in the world. Adventure & Fitness - San Diego is full of opportunities to stay fit and have fun. Here are just a handful of things you can do around the area: surfing, golfing, hiking, whale watching Segway tours, sailing, off-roading, speed boat tours, paddle boarding, dinner/dance cruises, sport fishing, trampolining, parasailing, swimming, marathons... the list goes on and on. Diversity – Our city delivers diversity via the varying neighborhoods and the wide-ranging types of people that live here. Depending on what area you head to, you can meet hipsters and hippies, indie rockers, cosmopolitan individuals, the college crowd, the affluent and more. Regions include the trendy bar scene of North Park, the LGBT-friendly locales of University Heights and Hillcrest, the wealthy regions of Del Mar and La Jolla, the fun and entertaining Gaslamp Quarter. Arts & Culture - With eclectic and savory food at world-class restaurants to museums, gardens, theaters, and art galleries – our city can compete with nearly any other city in the arts and culture department. Go ahead and see a symphony, some live theater, or an opera. Then visit the world-famous San Diego Zoo, or check out Balboa Park – the largest urban cultural park in the whole country. Starting to get the picture? Business & Technology - San Diego ranks, time and time again, as one of the top cities for technology jobs, to start up a business, and to grow your career. What's more, our city is always listed on the “10 Happiest Cities for Young Professionals.” Additionally, the $45 billion Qualcomm company which makes global semiconductors and wireless communications products is located in our city as well. Education - With top-rated public and private schools from Pre-K to university levels, San Diego is a great city for furthering your education or sending your kids to school. There are over 50 schools of higher learning that range from trade schools and community colleges to law schools and research institutes. Some of the many schools include the University of California San Diego, San Diego State University, and the University of San Diego. This was a quick list of the great things about San Diego. Yet, just to further the point, here are some other lists that San Diego repeatedly shows up on: Best Place to be Single, Greenest Cities, America’s Coolest City, Best Beaches, The New Capital of Influence, Best Cities for Biking, Top Meeting Destinations, and Most Scenic Restaurants.
