Nicknamed the "Jewel City," La Jolla is a wonderful, wealthy neighborhood in San Diego, California. The La Jolla Open Aire Market is a wonderful place to visit every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM where you can purchase organic fruits and vegetables, freshly baked bread, gorgeous flowers, and other fresh foods. There are also many food vendors with a plethora of fare to indulge in while here. Further, the summer concerts along the seaside at Ellen Browning Scripps Parks are the perfect free entertainment to enjoy. They take place on Sunday afternoons from July through Labor Day between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM and there are concessions to enjoy as well.
